As an American Board of Family Medicine certified physician, Dr. Calvin Tsao has expanded his medical training and practice into non-surgical cosmetic care by opening Impressions Laser and Cosmetics Medspa.
Having participated in multiple nationally recognized continuing medical education programs, Dr. Tsao is professionally trained in non-surgical cosmetic applications such as BOTOX® and Restylane® injections, cosmetic laser therapy, topical medications and cosmeceuticals in aesthetic dermatology.
As founder of Impressions, he consults with each patient to recommend a customized approach to achieve the desired cosmetic results. Unlike most other day spa and med spa service providers, Dr. Tsao guarantees his patients that he, as a licensed physician, administers all cosmetic injections.
Dr. Tsao completed his residency at Memorial Family Medicine, where in his last year was elected chief resident by his peers. Prior to residency, he received his MD at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Tsao speaks fluent English and Mandarin Chinese. He is passionate about serving children with diabetes. As a volunteer at Texas Lion's Camp in Kerrville, Texas, he has trained and supervised a team of healthcare workers to manage insulin regimens and general health for children ages four to 17 with diabetes mellitus each summer since 2003.
